The camping ground’s 33 pitches are ideally located on a magnificent plateau, high above and looking down onto the canyons of the River Ardeche.
In places the Gorges rise to 300 metres (980 ft) or rather they descend, as we gaze down into the winding meanders of breathtakingly beautiful rock-strewn riverscapes. With a bit of luck you may spot an elusive Bonelli’s eagle, or hear the undergrowth grunting of a wild boar. Who knows when your route may cross that of a deer or a beaver, or maybe you’ll appreciate the soothing hooting of owls in this natural paradise.
Mille Etoiles (Thousand Stars) lies at the end of a trail where you’ll find all the calm and tranquillity you could wish for. You can go down to the river directly from the camping ground; it’s true the slopes are steep but even the most wary will be rewarded upon arrival to discover so many awesome swimming and sun-bathing spots.
The pitches for caravans, tents and camper-cars are spacious and shaded, and can be hooked up to the mains.

There is a small play area for children; there’s also a library, a small general grocery and laundry facilities.
